We were delighted to get the opportunity to take on the role of Q for this Bond Challenge extravaganza. In pre-production we created a vast array of concept gadget, game and prop ideas in conjunction with the production team at 72 Films.
We went on to design and build an array of action props working with James Bond affiliated brands including Aston Martin and Omega as well as designing and building challenge games and SFX rigs used throughout series 2 in what was an extremely fulfilling role.

Designing, building and testing the challenges for the show was an intricate process ensuring that the games not only looked in keeping with the Bond franchise but also played at the desired level of difficulty. Form and function coming together seamlessly with the location they were set in. We were thrilled with how they played out.
The photo shows our nuclear reactor two player steady hand game.

Producing props that not only look the part but also work seamlessly when in the hands of unexperienced contributors can add an extra layer of complexity as there is no room for any movie magic. We created everything from a real life grapple gun, (pictured) to the gadget drawers full of James Bond surprises installed into Aston Martin's DB12. (see below)

Sometimes an effect is needed to add an extra layer of drama to a scene. One of the prop rigs we built, (pictured) for the shows underwater shark infested challenge was this locked ammunition box rigged to release a plume of startling gas when the contributor cracked the code and opened it.
We always rigorously test our custom rigs and to do that this time we got wet. If you're wanting a specific rig creating then we are only too happy to help.
